Firefox Mobile “Fennec” available for Nokia N900
After a year of confirming mobile browser version of firefox will come, Mozilla completing the development of the Firefox mobile browser (code name Fennec). However, temporary, this software only available for Linux platform Maemo used Nokia N900.
Release Candidate version, which is the last stage before the final version is ready for download for free starting from January 1, 2010. Previously, the beta version of this software has been released since the beginning of 2009 and an alpha version for Windows Mobile.
Some of the features on the upgraded version of the RC include rendering text. Beside that, there are new features like synchronization between Firefox and PC with Mozilla Weave and add-ons to customize the browser display. Fennec also provides tab browsing, bookmarks, quick zooming, pop-up blocker, download manager, and browser standard features on your Computer.
Although not yet available for other mobile platforms, Fennec can still be tried without using Nokia N900. Preview for PC version can be downloaded using Windows, Linux, and Mac.
