Apart from gaining weight and losing some battery minutes and pixel count in the camera, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is, well, a Vivaz. Like the Vivaz, it gets the same PowerVR SGX graphics processor that powered the earlier Satio but clocked at a higher 720 MHz. It shares the same internal as the Vivaz at 75 MB and microSD external storage expandability for up to 16GB. It also comes with a free 8 GB microSD card included in its sales kit. But as mentioned above, the same 1200 mAh Li-Po battery that fuels the Vivaz yields 30 minutes shorter at 12.5 hours of talk time on 2G.
Images and video captures get displayed on the same 3.2-inch TFT LCD resistive touchscreen with Wide-VGA resolution and a gorgeous 16 million color depth typical of what the Symbian S60 5th edition OS can support. Multimedia comes as another highlight starting with its media playback support for MP4 and H.264/H.263 video codecs and MP3, eAAC+, WAV and WMA audio formats with TrackID music recognition.
