Opportunity for the engineers who design expert on antennas and propagation. Apple is currently open job vacancies for professionals who have these skills. No half-hearted, there are three vacancies open.

Whether coincidence or not, these jobs at a time Apple published almost simultaneously with reports of problems on the iPhone antenna 4 when sold premiere, Thursday (6/24/2010) ago. A number of smartphone users are admitted difficulty in getting a signal when to use them.

Appel later formally declared that the problem is due to damping (attenuation) that arise when a handheld device that is active with a particular position. Apple recommends users not to hold the iPhone 4 instrumentalities primarily cover the bottom of the black line on both sides of the bottom corner of the place of an external antenna or wrap iPhoen 4 with accessories that are available in the market to avoid direct contact between the hand and the antenna.

Design an external antenna placed on a stainless steel plate surrounding the four sides of the iPhone’s new this time is used. Previously, when introducing the iPhone 4 first event of Worldwide Developer Congerence (WWDC) beginning in June, Apple CEO Steve Jobs is expected to declare an external antenna can improve signal reception stronger.

However, the fact that an external antenna design is even much less problematic, especially for a left-handed users. So, whether the vacancy for the antenna experts to solve this problem? Interested in registering, please visit the Apple website.

The sales of two types of mobile phones designed to meet the needs of social networking easier were halted because of failure in the market.
“We have taken the decision to focus only on the release of Windows Phone 7 and not the Kin to be launched in the European this autumn as previously planned,” Microsoft said in a statement on Wednesday (30/06/2010). Kin development team is now merged into the Windows Phone 7 team.

Kin sold through Verizon in the U.S. operators are not smooth. In fact, just two months supply direct prices discounted from 49 dollars to 29 dollars and a second type of 99 U.S. dollars to 49 dollars. Price does not include subscription contracts 30 dollars per month.

Many who criticize Kin with limited features. Although the price is cheap, the contract is too expensive for mobile phone customers who can say no because there is no class smartphone app store. However, many are also praised Studion Kin feature that allows users to access online and check their of mobile phones services like SMS, phone, use of photos, and video. This service is backing up all of the content on Kin mobile phones.

Last chance to book the smart phone may be just this week because, as soon as the goods in the warehouse booked out, Google will not serve the reservation again.

This is done because the report sales results are unsatisfactory. VP Engineering, Google’s Andy Rubin has said in mid-May that an online sales model did not achieve the desired results and only create sales channels is very small.

However, Google said, with this dismissal, it does not mean they are out of the smart phone business. Google made the announcement at Nexus One blog that these devices will remain available through partner operators, namely Vodafone in Europe and KT in Korea. Some developers also can get these phones through outlets of Google’s partners, although Google did not provide further specification on this matter.

The Kin family is Microsoft’s offering for social networking buffs. The Microsoft Kin One (nicknamed Turtle) and the Microsoft Kin Two (nicknamed Pure) were developed by the multinational computer corporation’s Premium Mobile Experiences division.

Since the project involves Danger employees, the main goal was to create a superior mobile phone platform as compared to Danger’s Sidekick. The Kin OS was supposed to be rooted on the Windows Phone 7 platform but due to some delays, it was then decided to be built on the Windows CE instead. Despite using the CE core, the interface still manages to capture Phone 7’s style and pizzazz. The platform will be using XNA for its games and will be using Zune for its media. The Kin One is the smaller of the two devices. It is pocket-sized and is easy to use for one hand typing.

A Pocket-sized Kin Two

Being a compact version of the Kin Two, the Kin One may be targeted towards the younger age range of the target market. The Microsoft Kin One is capable of taking only VGA videos at 30 frames per second as compared to the Two’s 720p capable camera. Also, instead of having an 8 GB internal storage, the Kin One only has a 4 GB memory capacity. It is still plenty for most social networking buffs, but for those who constantly change the contents of their mobile phones, a service called the “Kin Studio” can be utilized for both in order to create a server synced backup of images, messages, photos, call logs and other phone data.

As for those who love taking photos, the Kin One has a 5 megapixel snapper, while the Kin Two has an 8 megapixel version. Both are optimized to shoot in low light conditions though with their built-in LED flash and features such as smile and face detection.

Featuring the Kin Spot

The Kin Spot is basically a system to simplify sharing of photos, videos, contacts. The system makes use of a green “spot” (hence the name) found in the lower middle of the phone where the user can drag and drop whatever items they want to share and choose whether they would like to share it through their social network accounts or to their contacts.

The Spot can also be used to message multiple people simply by dragging the icons of each contact and choosing whether an email or a text message is going to be sent.

The Kin Loop

The actual home screen of the Kin One is called the “Kin Loop”. This shares the story of each contact by displaying a collage-type icon collection which displays the latest stats updates and messages of selected friends. The system also accommodates favorite RSS feeds on the home screen.
The Microsoft Kin One’s goal to provide a deep, social experience is truly realized with the number of features already packed into the phone. While it is not actually a “smart” phone, it is able to provide what is promised even for non-tech savvy users. Find the best Microsoft Kin One deals at Moby1 by comparing phone deals for mobile phones with free gift.

If the news was true, before the end of the year will its first mobile phone released.

Second-generation Intel Atom processor formerly codenamed Moorestown was officially available starting Tuesday (4/5/2010). Intel claimed the first phone that will use these processors will be available later this year and will use MeeGo platform, open source operating system based on the merger between Intel Maemo and Nokia Moblin.

“You’ll see devices with Moorestown and Meego starting at the end of 2010,” said Pankaj Kedia, director of global ecosystem programs Intel mobile internet devices as reported by site Pocket-Lint, Wednesday (05/05/2010). He was not sure whether the first mobile phone is Nokia.

However, implicitly Nokia said the same. A spokesman for Nokia said it will use the MeeGo on its device start at end of this year. “We hope to produce first MeeGo device end of this year,” the source Nokia.

If true, Nokia will shift the LG. Earlier, during the Mobile World Congress 2010, LG is showing off LG GW990, who was prepared as the first mobile phone with Intel platform Moorestown and Moblin. However, recently rumored LG cancelled the production.

The prototype was introduced at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain a few months ago.

However, there is rumor that the smartphone has been cancelled by its manufacturer. The rumor was not confirmed, but Phone Arena technology site reported, the LG source states that LG GW990 was just at concept level and not necessarily entering mass production.

It’s pity indeed if LG GW990 failed to be produced. The reason is that this smartphone quite sophisticated even can say it’s a half of tablet with a 4.8-inch touch screen and a resolution of 1024×480 pixels, multi-window UI, 3D gaming, HSPA, and 5 MP camera. The processors would use Moorestown platform which newly launched by Intel, Tuesday (05/04/2010) as a Z6xx series. When introduced in Barcelona, LG said GW990 will use an operating system made by Intel’s Moblin 2.1.

However, Intel and Nokia recently struck a deal to merge the open source development platform based both. Intel Maemoand Nokia Moblin merged into the new platform, named MeeGo. So far, the release schedule MeeGo still unclear. Maemo is already in use on the Nokia tablet device and the latest in smartphone Nokia N900. Moblin himself died before use.

Is LG persisted to produces LG GW990 with Moblin, backward, or have a new plan with MeeGo? We’ll see.
